Quantum Futurist
Microcosmic and macroscopic
The development of science keeps changing the way we perceive the future. This project aims to provide a new interpretation of “futurist”.
“Future” is not fixed, but super-positioned possibilities. The way we approach the future is chaotic, but the chaos forms a pattern in long run. Human is powerless when predicting the future in microcosm, but if we can jump out the scope of individual and put ourselves in the macro-scope evolution with honesty and modesty, we may be able to make some valuable predictions.
One for all, and all for one.

It shows a possible coexistence of chaos where the future movements are sensitive to initial conditions, and statistical stability, insensitive to initial conditions

Every design style goes through the process from interesting to good design then mass-market, then cliche then embarrassment, it’s over fetish, and revival.
- There are some key attributes about human is unique and consistent
Tenet:
Be honest to your decision making, treat yourself as a human.
Be aware of historical context.
Be aware of what is uprising(trend) and what is diminishing.
Embrace uncertainty.
Instead of directly depicting the future, we should predict averages, statistics, and probabilities.
Introducing humanity when we start predicting the future.
Always present design with multiple direction and possibility.
Take inspirations from the past, and add contemporary layers above that.
